Is there a Facebook page for Royal Palm Neighborhood?

Yes! It’s a great way to stay informed about upcoming events and programs, as well as connect with your neighbors. You can find the link to the official Royal Palm Neighborhood Facebook group here. To join the group you must be added by a current member who can verify your residency, or you can submit proof of residency. There are also RP groups for specific interests like the Royal Palm Moms Play Group and Royal Palm Bunco Group.

Where can I go to order my holiday luminaria kit and get more info?

The holidays are a magical time in Royal Palm! On Christmas Eve, the streets are lined with the soft glow of luminarias. The Royal Palm Neighborhood provides the luminaria supplies for purchase, and each resident assembles and lights theirs at dusk. To learn more about our luminaria tradition, visit the Events page during the month of November and December.

Does Royal Palm plan a community yard sale?

Yes! We try to squeeze in a Royal Palm community yard sale in the fall. We also have a donation collection at the park for your leftover items called Royal Palm Gives. Look for announcements in our Facebook group and event page.

What is the 19NORTH Community Garden?

The community garden is City-owned property leased to Royal Palm Neighborhood land adjacent to the light rail in the heart of 19NORTH. Royal Palm is responsible for its operations. It’s a space for gardening and community to be experienced! There are no fees or membership. It’s open to the public and all produce is shared. I just moved to Royal Palm. The community is so big. What’s the best way to meet my neighbors?

Welcome, we are so glad you’re here! Check out our Front Yard Friday or Community Garden events, or consider volunteering on a committee. They are a great way to meet your neighbors in a smaller, relaxed atmosphere. Feeling more social? Join us for an upcoming larger special event at the park.

What schools are near Royal Palm Neighborhood?

Abraham Lincoln Traditional School and Richard E. Miller (elementary), Royal Palm Middle School (middle), and Sunnyslope High School (high) are near Royal Palm Neighborhood. Both Abraham Lincoln Traditional School and Sunnyslope High School are both highly ranked. Another popular choice for Royal Palm parents is the neighboring Madison Elementary Public School District which has several top performing schools, including the #11 ranked public elementary school - Madison Traditional Academy. There are also numerous private and charter schools to choose from in Central and North Phoenix.
